Suggested Agenda for March 2025 Meeting

  • Open Discussion

    HELP US PRESERVE, IMPROVE, REVITALIZE

Environmental activism works by people sharing their skills, knowledge, and concerns with others. Involvement of ordinary citizens is what gets things done, not the public waiting for federal or state governments to step up first.

  • Earth Hour Activity List

GET READY FOR MARCH 22, 2025

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) asks us to do an activity for 60 minutes that helps nature or the planet in some way (beyond switching off our lights). Let’s come up with some ideas of things people might love to do.

  • STEM Fest Exhibit

    APRIL 12, 2025 – ROMEOVILLE LIBRARY

Help our future scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians tackle pressing world problems. CARE will be an exhibitor at STEM Fest, with the aim of convincing young people to consider a career focused on the environment.

  • Kelvin Grove Junior High

    LOCAL STUDENTS NEED YOUR HELP

The Kelvin Grove Junior High Nature Club is looking for assistance with school gardening projects.

  • PFAS

    EVERYWHERE AND FOREVER

Get the latest on the progress of new regulations, what consumers should be aware of, and how CARE is addressing the issue of PFAS in a county with a long history of heavy industry and reliance on groundwater-fed wells.

  • Environmental News

    INCREASE OUR EXPOSURE

We are always looking for people to contribute content to our website. Any environmental news that is affecting or may affect Will County is welcomed.

  • Website Blog

    INCREASE OUR EXPOSURE

Or indulge in your creative skills and write for our website blog. Just email us what you want to say about any environmental topic of interest to you and we will post it!
